"While  talking to people in the community, I found that we share common  values. Wanting the best for our family, good health, and protections of  individual rights. Our children  are our future: it’s imperative that schools and special education be  funded to ensure that they have the tools that they need to succeed  after graduation, whether they continue their education or pursue a  trade.  I have been advocating along with hundreds  of other people across the state for the expansion of Medicaid that  would provide coverage for over 400 Miami County residents, create jobs  and reduce healthcare costs for all.  I believe that the voices of  voting citizens' count: just like they did in 2020  when they demanded that women’s healthcare and reproductive rights be  protected.  When elected, I promise to listen to your voice and will  work collaboratively and without personal agenda on behalf of ALL Kansans!"

Not very! She filed just before the deadline, and ran unopposed for  USD 368 schoolboard in Nov 2023. She ran UNOPPOSED and still 664 voters wrote in candidates.who did not even exist rather than to vote for her. A 30% DISAPPROVAL going in speaks volumes of how community members feel about her making decisions on the school board that affect our childrens' education and safety. Maybe they've learned of her abysmal attendance and voting records at the legislature, or maybe they've heard enough of her policies to know that they REALLY DON'T want her filling a school board seat. 

Here's one group that supports candidates who support our public schools and oppose the transfer of tax money to private and religious schools. They have prepared handy resource guides, have a look. Samantha Poetter Parshall does NOT have their endorsement. 

Samantha skips her legislative responsibilities every chance she gets.  You'd think she'd show up, she SAID she wanted this job. 

The House Journal notes legislators' absences and sometimes the reason. Samantha made in in on Monday January 13, 2025, then SKIPPED WORK until Jan 23rd!

Samantha's agenda is to cut taxes for corporations and wealthy families like hers at the expense of vital programs that Kansans rely on. Fortunately we have a capable professional ready to assume the responsibilities of KS HD 6 representative.
